Batman Beau!!

It's been in C.F.'s and my heart to teach Beau that God's his provider, and that He's good, and that he can trust Him. We've been especially teaching him about His goodness and that He wants the best for him. Well to make a long story short, he took some of his piggy bank money and put it in the offering and he asked God for a batman suit. We hooked our faith up with his and got excited with him. So yesterday we get a phone call from Shawna and girls and they wanted to know if there was any toy Beau wanted because they felt led of God to get him something. God is so good. It's one thing to believe God for yourself and for Him to provide for you, but it's another thing to trust Him with your children. He's so good!

Oh my!!

Beau and I were up-stairs yesterday cleaning while Lucy was taking a nap downstairs in her swing. I heard her fussing around so I told Beau we needed to go get her. We came down and I went in the play room to grab something, when I came back into the room, low and behold Lucy was laying on the couch next to her brother with a smirk on his on his face. After my large gasp, Beau said, "Do you think this is funny mommy?" Of course I began the lecture of how we never carry Lucy especially when mommy and daddy aren't around. But I said don't move because I want a picture. (Since no one was hurt, it's a funny story) I went back in the play room to get the camera, came back out and there's Beau holding her. I very calmly grabbed her from him and he said, "She a heaby girl mommy!" I'm pretty proud of him, we went five months without him picking her up.

There's a turtle in my yard.

We went out yesterday and there was a turtle in our driveway....so weird. The sad thing was Beau was sleeping and he really needed to get a good nap in & by the time he woke up that turtle was gone. He was a fast little booger

There's nothing like.....

a good old fashion Missouri swimming pool. Beau, Lucy, Collin and I went to Aunt Teresa's today with Shawna and the girls and swam in the pond and rode in the paddle boat....they had a BLAST! Beau and Lily never got in and swam but that Collin, Abbey and Gracie were brave little souls. It was so fun to see them have such a good time, it reminded me of my childhood and how much fun I had with my cousins. Thanks Aunt Shawna for inviting us over, it was so much fun.

Lucy's dedication.

We had Lucy's dedication yesterday at church. It was a beautiful ceremony....my dad got to dedicate her and he did a great job. It was very sweet....he talked about when I was born how he dedicated me to the Lord and now he's watching me serve the Lord. He also talked about how blessed he was to have a son-in-law who also is serving the Lord. Needless to say the tears were flowing.

The other day Beau, Lucy and I were on our way to Church, I was rushing around trying to get out the door. I "asked" Beau to go get his shoes. Really how it went was "go get your shoes right now, we've gotta go".....but anywho, this story isn't about my bad parenting skills. He headed up stairs, then not a minute later he's headed towards the bathroom with a distraught look on his face. I asked "What's the matter Beau, gotta go to the bathroom?" He replied "Uhhhhh, yes mommy, and it's gonna be a big one."

I love the way Lucy loves her brother. All he has to do is walk into the room and she's full of smiles and laughs. In this video Beau was going in circles and she couldn't stop.

What a beautiful day!

We had a great 4th of July. Went up to my dad and mom's house and Lucy, Beau, Collin & Brandon swam and did fireworks. It was such a beautiful evening, it was like it was fall weather.

They Really Love Each Other!!
