Camera stolen.
A few weeks ago C.F. and I took Beau & Lucy to Weston, Mo to a place called "The Big Red Barn". It's a pumpkin patch with corn mazes, animals, hayrides, pony rides and an apple orchard. It was so beautiful when you drove in-the rolling hills, the trees starting to turn, it was very picturesque. I was excited to get great pic's of my kids there, since this was their first pumpkin patch experience. To make a long story a little shorter (If I'm even capable of doing that) we lost our camera. The sad thing is, it was in our stroller and fell out somewhere between point A to point B. We walked that short path several times and had to settle that someone had picked it up. The two hours that we were there, C.F. and I checked the front desk many times and once again had to settle in our hearts that not only had someone picked up the camera, but that they decided to keep it. Sadly, C.F. and I did not handle it very well at first. Thank goodness we didn't play the blame game, it was just one of those things that obviously the camera was too important to us. That's not to say that God doesn't want us to have a nice camera, He was the one who blessed us with it in the first place. I think the lesson I learned was, first of all, keep the camera in the camera bag with C.F. or myself-duh. Secondly- it's just a camera (that was a big one for me). Plus-here's a another big one- Jesus is still Lord (that's what I had to tell myself after our beloved Tigers lost last weekend). I'm still saved and I have a great family. WOW....isn't it amazing how something so little can have such an impact in our lives. So praise God, He's so good and He has blessed us with very nice camera that mom loaned to us. I've still yet to figure out how to download the pic's, but, we're able to take pic's. I think the reason I wrote about this was to share how if we would've allowed it, this could've been a big fight in our marriage. But instead, we decided let love have it's first place in our lives. Praise God, He's so good.
