Beau and Lily

Lily came and stayed the night with Beau the other night, they played the Wii and had a fun time. I thought this was a sweet picture of Lily. They also were playing in the play room, Lily asked Beau to play with her, He said "No, I don't like girl toys" she in turn said "Beau, why did you asked me to stay with you." Kids are so funny.

Christmas at Connie's

We had our last Christmas dinner at Connie's and had a really nice time. Glynis, Donovan and their family made it up, and of course Kent, Shawna and the girls were there too. All the kids had a fun time opening gifts, and I enjoyed all the appetizers.....yummy!!

Christmas Morning

Beau and Lucy had a great Christmas. Of course Lucy had no idea what was going on, she just played with boxes and tissue paper. So sad to say Lucy got the shaft (compared to Beau) this year with her gifst. Next year will be different for her. Beau got a Wii, Imaginext batman cave and gorilla mountain. Those were the only things he wanted. He came down the stairs and saw all those things and said "Thank you God!!" It blessed my heart.

We did fondue with mom, dad and Connie, it was my first time doing it and turned out alright. Mom and dad have done this before so I told them they better be nice. They were very sweet and said it was good. We had lots of fun.

Here Beau and Luke coloring. Apparently Beau and Luke are best friends, and Luke wants to invite Beau to his birthday party, but the two of them never talk. It was Luke's mom that told me about the invitation - so funny. Boys are so different than girls.

Daddy, Lucy and I went to Beau's graduation tonight. He did such a good job, I'm so proud of him. He sang all his songs so well and he got an award for most bubbliest. Apparently, he's also a very good story teller, which makes mommy a little nervous.

I did Christmas pic's the other day and it was very interesting to say the least. Lucy was cooperative for about 2 min. Beau was upset because he wanted to sit in the chair. So this is how I felt.....ahhhhh! I wanted to do the whole family but it seemed like we couldn't get it together. So Lucy's 1st Christmas card pic wasn't what I thought it would be, but there are worse things in life.

Shawna sent over some clothes after church, this baby doll hat and baby bottle were in with them. She looked so funny.

Roasting Marshmallows

Dad and mom had a hot dog roast Saturday out at the P & T Farm....that's just funny to say. Of course Beau didn't eat the hot dogs, he went straight to the marshmallows. They did a little tractor ride and he had a great time.The wind was really bad so Lucy and I stayed home:(

Christmas in the park

Beau, Lucy and I went to the park tonight for the lighting of the Christmas lights and to see Santa. We only stayed for like 10 min, it was so cold. So here's a pic of me with the kids, which I try to avoid, but I thought they would like some proof that I actually raised them. Sorry for the bright faces, we just got this camera and I'm still trying to figure it out.

All the cousins

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Connie's on Sat, and once again, good food! The kids had the best time with Colby, we're hoping she gets to come back next summer.

Lucy's 1st Thanksgiving

We went to mom's today for Thanksgiving, and the food was awesome. And like a typical Thanksgiving holiday I could go without food for a week...but I won't. Lucy had a very nice Thanksgiving, and so did Beau. Not really sure why I didn't get pics of him, maybe because he was busy with Brandon and Collin. Aunt Carey and Uncle Bill made the trip down, it was nice to have them here.

Sleepover

Last night all the kids (Beau, Gracie, Lily, Abbey and Colby) had a sleepover at Connie's. They had so much fun. I think they all did really well, there were no disagreements, which is huge when you have 4 small children around. Connie made a large pallet in the living room and they all slept there. Good times!!

Christmas Tree

Beau and mommy did the Christmas tree the other night and we had fun. He's getting so much fun to do this stuff with.

1st Movie

C.F. and I took Beau to his 1st movie last night, and I forgot the camera....so sad:( But he had a great time. He walked in and was like "Ohhh, this place is cool." He saw one of his puppy pound friends, Ella, and he waved at her. Which I'm so proud because he wasn't being very social, so I've been encouraging him to talk to his "cousins" (Beau thinks all his puppy pound peers are his cousins). But we had fun. Lucy's been teething with all the great perks that come with it- diarrhea, fever, irritability and needing mommy constantly. Yesterday she was feeling better so we left her with Annie for a couple hours while we took Beau to the movie. It was the first time we've left her anywhere. Annie said she did really well. Brandon was there and she just loves him, so she had a nice time.

Harverst Party

We had a great time at the Harvest Party. David, Lisa and Annie really made it so much fun. Beau can't for the next one.

Abbey and Lucy
